Skype is used to get in touch with contacts via Chat, Voice or Video Calls. It also keeps a track of all communications going through any medium. Skype has the ability to save chat history in form of a complete log report in your computer. Because of the privacy issue, it also offers its users to delete Skype message by using its Settings and Options. Follow this step by step guide to learn how to delete messages on Skype on PC.

Step # 1 -- Login in to Skype
In this tutorial we will guide you on how to delete messages on Skype on PC. For this purpose, first of all open up the Skype window. Now enter your Skype Name and Password and click on the "Sign in" button to login to the Skype.

Step # 2 -- Go to Skype Options
Once you have logged into the Skype, go to the "Tools" menu and click on the "Options" from the list. This will open the Settings Panel of Skype.

Step # 3 -- Clear the History
Now in the next step, go to the "Privacy" tab and select the "Privacy Settings" option. Once done, select the "No History" option under the "Keep history for" option and click on the "Clear History" button next to it. This will simply have Skype message to be deleted from your computer.

Step # 4 -- Select to 'Delete Skype History'
Now click on the "Delete" button on the confirmation message to delete all message's history from Skype.

Step # 5 -- Confirm the Delete History
Once you have deleted all the history, click on the "Clear Skype Cookies" button and click on the "OK" button from the confirmation message to remove all unnecessary files.

Step # 6 -- Save your Settings
In the last step, click on the "Save" button which is located at the bottom right corner of the windows to save these settings and exit. This is how Skype message are deleted from your computer.
