Deleting cookies is something you should do regularly to protect your privacy online. This tutorial will show you how to delete cookies on safari.

Step # 1 -- Opening Preferences

Start Safari and click on the "cog" icon in the top right hand corner. A drop down menu will appear, from this menu click on the "Preferences..." option.

Step # 2 -- Opening the Details of the Cookies

This will open the "Preferences" window and you will have many options to choose from. From the tabs at the top of the window, click "Privacy". From the new options available, click "Details...".

Step # 3 -- Removing all Past Cookies

This will open the "Details" window which provides information about the different websites that are storing cookies on your computer. When learning how to delete cookies on safari it is not important to know which sites are storing cookies, just how to get rid of them. This is easy -- just click on the "Remove All" button at the bottom of the window. Safari will ask for confirmation, click "Remove Now". The computer will process the request then close the window, all cookies will have been deleted.
