Introduction:

After some time of using a browser you probably will have created many bookmarks. This tutorial is going to show you how to delete bookmarks in safari so you can remove all the bookmarks you are no longer interested in.

Step # 1 -- Opening the Bookmarks Area

Launch Safari. You will notice in the top left hand of the browser there is an icon that resembles an open book. Click on this icon.

Step # 2 -- Deleting a Single Bookmark

This will open the "Bookmarks Bar" area which will display all of the bookmarks you have created, as well as a few standard ones that come with Safari. To delete a single bookmark, right click on it and in the menu that appears click on "Delete". This is how to delete bookmarks in safari individually.

Step # 3 -- Deleting Multiple Bookmarks
To delete multiple bookmarks the process is rather similar. Hold down the "Control" key on your keyboard and then left click on all the bookmarks that you want to remove. Once you have done this you need to press the "Delete" key on your keyboard. Right clicking and pressing "Delete" will not work for removing multiple bookmarks at once in Safari.
