Learning how to set firefox homepage is easy and it can dramatically improve your browsing experience as the homepage is the site you see most often.
Step # 1 -- Load the Site You Want as Your Homepage
In order to set your homepage you first need to navigate to the site you want to set it as. In this example we are going to set the BBC website as our homepage. Visit the site you want to set as your homepage, in this example: "www.bbc.co.uk".
Step # 2 -- Opening Options
The next stage in learning how to set firefox homepage is to open the "Options" window to change the homepage settings. Click on the orange "Firefox" button in the top left of the window. Navigate to "Options" then click the new "Options" button that has appeared.
Step # 3 -- Setting the Homepage
The "Options" window will load. Near the top of the window you will see the "Startup" options. Click the "Use current page" button and the web address you visited will appear in the text box. At the bottom of the page click "OK" and the page will be set.
Step # 4 -- Confirming the Change
The "Options" window will close. Now to check that the homepage has been set correctly, visit any other site then click on the icon in the top right side of the browser that looks like a house. This is the "Home" button. Clicking it should navigate you to the homepage you just set.
