In this video, we will show you how to manage saved passwords in Google Chrome.

The manage passwords feature in Google Chrome allows the browser to remember the passwords for different websites that you sign in.

If you enter a password on a website, Google Chrome ask’s you whether you want to save the password or not. If you have saved the password, next time when you visit the website, Google Chrome will fill in the sign-in form allowing you to sign-in easily.

You can manage the passwords of different sites through Google Chrome’s settings page. Let’s get started.

On the top right corner, open up the Customize and Control menu and move into settings. From within the settings window, move to the Autofill section and click on the “Passwords” option.

Over here, you can enable or disable the “Offer to save passwords” feature. If disabled, Google Chrome will stop asking for saving your passwords while signing in.

Through the Auto sign in feature, you can automatically sign in to the websites where you have saved your password. This means, as long as the auto sign in option is enabled, you will not be required to confirm your login credentials.

Below that, you will see a list of all the websites for which the passwords have been saved in Google Chrome. The passwords saved here are specifically for this particular browser and computer. These are not the passwords saved in your Google Account.

If you want to view the password, click Show password Preview option towards the right side here. If you lock your computer with a password, you'll be prompted to enter your computer password.

If you want to edit or remove the password, click on the More option and from here you can either choose to edit or delete the password.

If you want to export the saved data, you can click on the “Export” passwords option from here as well.

If you want to stop chrome from asking to save the password for a specific website, you can click on the “Never” button from the pop up window. All those websites will be added to the “Never Saved” list over here in the password manager.

To remove a website from the list, simply click on this icon over here. Now when you login the website again, Google Chrome will ask you whether you want to save the password in Google Chrome.

That’s all!
