Introduction:
Google Chrome has a very clean interface that you can preserve by removing unwanted toolbars. This tutorial is going to direct you how to remove toolbars from google chrome.
Step # 1 -- Accessing Chrome Extensions
You can see in this Chrome window we have a toolbar which we are going to remove. You will notice an icon in the top right hand corner of the window that looks like three stacked vertical lines. Click on this icon, then navigate to "Settings".
Step # 2 -- Finding the Toolbar to Remove
This will open the settings area of Chrome. To access the toolbars and see how to remove toolbars from google chrome you need to click on the "Extensions" option in the left hand menu column. This will produce a list of all your installed extensions, which includes toolbars, on the right. Scroll down and locate the toolbar that you want to remove.
Step # 3 -- Removing the Toolbar
You will see to the right side of the toolbar a small icon that looks like a trash can. When you hover over this the lid of the can will open and you will see the text "Remove from Chrome". Click this icon. A dialog box will appear asking you to confirm whether you want to remove the toolbar, click "Remove" and the toolbar will be successfully removed from Chrome.
