The main reason to delete your browsing history in any internet browser is to protect your privacy online. This tutorial is going to show you how to delete browsing history on google chrome.
Step # 1 -- Locating the Browsing Data Window
Open Google Chrome. You will see an icon at the top of the browser window that appears to be three vertical bars -- click on this icon. A drop down menu will appear and from here you need to select the "Tools" option, a sub-menu will open, click on "Clear browsing data".
Step # 2 -- Selecting to Delete the Entire Browsing History
The "Clear browsing data" window will now have opened and we want to erase our internet history from when we first installed the browser. Click on the drop down menu at the top and select "the beginning of time".
Step # 3 -- Ensuring you only Delete the Browsing History
As a default option, Chrome will want to erase more information than just the browsing history. You need to specifically command it not to. Deselect all of the options except for the "Clear browsing history" option which is the first in the list.
Step # 4 -- Completing the Removal
Once you have made sure you only have "Clear browsing history" selected click "Clear browsing data", this will complete the process and you now know how to delete browsing history on google chrome.
