Your browser will process much faster, the unnecessary space being utilized will be freed up and more importantly, all traces related to your online activity will be removed from the hard drive. On the downside, the browsing speed might get a bit slowed down since all the data would have to be fetched from the web server once you visit any website. With that said, the advantages easily outweigh the disadvantages so here is a step by step guide on how to remove your cache in Opera.

Step # 1 -- Delete Private Data

First of all, open up the main menu. To do that, click on the opera menu button located right at the top towards the left side of the browser window. Once the menu appears, move over to settings and click on the delete private data option.

Step # 2 -- Delete Private Data Window

Once the delete private data window opens up, click on the drop down arrow before detailed options to expand the window. With that done, you will be shown a number of options, all related to your browsing data.

Over here, we will deselect all the options except the "Delete Session Cookies", "Delete All Cookies", "Delete password protected pages" and more importantly the "Delete entire cache" option.

Once done, hit the delete button located at the bottom of the window.

Step # 3 -- Alternate way of accessing the Delete Private Data option

For those of you, who are more familiar with the menu bar on top, move over to the tools menu to access the delete private data option. From there you can easily clear the cache in opera, following the same steps as mentioned above.
