In this tutorial, you'll learn how to use the Power-User options available in Windows 8.1

Step # 1 -- Accessing the Power-Options Menu

From any screen on your PC, go ahead and push "Windows Key + X" to open up the Power-User options menu, and it should appear in the bottom-left corner of your screen.

Step # 2 -- Accessing Services from Power-Options

To open up any of these services listed, you can either click on it, or if you look at the list you'll notice each option has one letter that is underlined. If you type that letter on your keyboard, it will open up the option that the letter is associated with.

Step # 3 -- Opening Task Manager from Power-Options

You can see that Task Manager has an underlined "T", so go ahead and push "T" on the keyboard and the Windows 8.1 Task Manager will now open and allow you to perform the actions available within that service. To access any other service, simply do it the same way, but you'll need a different letter shortcut, for example press "R" to open "Run".
