In this tutorial, you will learn How to View Downloads on an iPhone.
In iOS13, Safari now has a dedicated download window, similar to Safari on MacOS. While saving photos and videos will store the files in your Photos app, downloading any other format will be done via the new downloader.
For instance, try and download a zip file from the web. You will be asked if you’d like to commence with the download.
Once you tap Download, you’ll see a new icon appear next to your URL bar in Safari. This icon will show a progress bar while the download is in progress.
Tap on it to see what files are downloaded.
After the files are downloaded, you can tap on the magnifying glass icon next to any file in this list to quickly access it in your files app. These files are downloaded into the Downloads folder of your iCloud.
You also have the choice to clear the downloads list.
This is a simple yet very effective addition to the Safari. It helps to make the downloading process via safari more intuitive.
How do you manage your files? Please let us know in comments.
