In this tutorial you will learn How to Use Portrait Lighting Control and High-Key Mono Effect on iPhone or iPad.
In iOS 13 new High-Key Mono effect in the Camera app’s Portrait Mode panel is now available, along with the ability to edit and control Portrait Lightning via a new Portrait Lighting Control section in the Photos app editing interface.
High Key Mono Effect is yet another black and white portrait lighting mode, similar to stage light mono, however this time, you get a white background instead of a black one.
To access the High-Key Mono effect simply select it in the camera app when taking a portrait photo.
If you want to access the portrait lighting control, select a lighting mode in camera app and tap on the new polygon icon. Slide the control left or right to change the settings.
You can also access it from photos app after you have taken a photo. Go to Photos, open a photo and tap edit. Tap on the polygon icon. Now you can select a lighting mode as well as change the amount of the effect.
Do you take portrait selfies often? Please let us know in comments.
