It’s Tom with Satori Graphics back with another graphic design Illustrator tutorial; today I have more Adobe Illustrator shortcuts that you must know. Why should you know these keyboard shortcuts in Illustrator? Well because they are awesome for time saving within your graphic design work, and they will free you from hassle too.

There are so many shortcuts for Illustrator, and some are more important that others. But these are must know shortcuts because they are all essential in my opinion. I may start to make themed shortcut videos, so for example one video for shortcuts relating to typography design only in Adobe Illustrator, let me know if you think that’s a cool idea..?

Here are the shortcuts for Adobe Illustrator in todays video:
Hide/Show all tools and panels Tab
Hide/Show all panels except toolbox Shift-Tab

Lock Selected Artwork cmnd 2 / ctrl 2
Unlock Selected Artwork cmnd alt/option 2 / ctrl alt 2

Outline Type: Shift/Command/O, PC shortcut = Shift/Control/O

Shortcuts to change text size
Ctrl+Shift+ arrow Cmd+Shift+ arrow: Increase text by 2 points
Ctrl+Shift+ arrow Cmd+Shift+ arrow: Decrease text by 2 points

Swap Stroke & Fill - shift X
