A lot of viewer requested to teach past tense in Urdu, so this is our first lesson on past Tense.
We are not going to learn something very advance in Urdu grammar but simply we will learn how to use was and were in Urdu language.

The past auxiliary verb "was" is " tha / thi تھا / تھی " in Urdu language.
when you have was in an English sentence then simply replace the " tha / thi " with its present auxiliary verb (it can be hun / hai or hain"
for example
am = hun
was = tha / thi
I am busy
mai busy hu

and

I was busy
mai busy tha / thi

tha (was ) : masculine singular
thi (was) : feminine singular
