Lesson 15 - Past Simple & Future Simple Tenses

Past Simple (negative) To be:
I was (not). - I wasn't.
You were (not) - You weren't.
He/she/it was (not) - He/she/it wasn't.
We/they were (not) - We/they weren't.

Future Simple (negative) To be:
I/you/he/she/it/we/they
will (not) be. - won't be.
I'll/you'll/he'll/she'll/it'll/we'll/they'll
(not) be.

Past Simple (negative) To do:
I/you/he/she/it/we/they
did (not) do. didn't do.

Future Simple (negative) To do:
I/you/he/she/it/we/they
will (not) do. - won't do.
I'll/you'll/he'll/she'll/it'll/we'll/they'll
(not) do.

Past Simple Regular Verb Rules:
1: verb + ed (walk-walked)
2: last letter e + d (shave-shaved)
3: vowel+y + ed (play-played)
4: consonant+y + ies (cry-cries)
5: one syllable words:
short vowel+consonant + double consonant+ed (stop-stopped)
(NOT w/x mix-mixed)
6: for two syllable verbs with final syllable stressed:
short vowel+consonant + double consonant+ed (admit-admitted)
7: for two syllable verbs with final syllable NOT stressed:
short vowel+consonant + ed
(happen-happened)

did (not) + verb. - didn't + verb.

Future Simple Regular Verbs:
I/you/he/she/it/we/they
will (not) + verb. - won't + verb.
I'll/you'll/he'll/she'll/it'll/we'll/they'll
(not) + verb.

Past Simple Irregular Verbs:
