This is a 30 minute period yoga routine perfect for that time of the month where we endure cramps, soreness and lower body aches. During my menstrual cycle it can feel like my lower body is burning in the leg and groin area, even in my lower back. I also often feel heavy dull excruciating cramps in my sides. I've noticed when i begin to stretch it allows for space for my body to fluctuate within during this time. It also helps to release any tightness and tension. Also some of these poses are great if you are having poop troubles during your period. The twist and the happy baby are top notch! Let it rip babes. See you on the mat.

optional: If you don't have a block feel free to use some books that are secured tightly together or some firm pillows or a thick blanket.
