Top 3 mistakes to avoid at the beginning of your marketing career:

Saying YES to everything and everyone. Marketers tend to get a lot of requests from all possible departments in any organization. Master the art of filtering through the incoming requests and pick the ones that match your plans and align with your marketing goals.

Trying to be exceptional at everything (spoiler: it's not realistic at any point of your marketing career)

Having ZERO tolerance for failure. Whether it's a typo in your first newsletter or the wrong targeting option on your LinkedIn ad, mistakes are inevitable. Don't stress too much about your failures, and focus on what you are good at.

Here's my short compilation of the most common marketing career mistakes. I wish I could spot them earlier in my career. But everything happens at the right time it seems. What would you add to the list?
