In this computer science video lesson you will learn about the Computer Misuse Act, a British law devised specifically to deal with unauthorised access to computer systems. The five sections of the current version of the computer misuse act are explained in detail. You will also learn about different types of cybercrime such as hacking. Different types of malware are described including computer viruses, worms, trojans, spyware, adware and ransomware. DDOS attacks by botnets are also mentioned along with and social engineering attacks such as email spamming and phishing. In additions some equivalent laws in other countries are mentioned, as well as some initiatives designed to enable international cooperation in the fight against cybercrime. Finally, there is a mention of cyberwarfare.
