The first big English interview question you’ll get about what you have done relates to achievements, eg: “what achievement are you most proud of?” Or “tell us about a recent achievement?”

When you look back on your accomplishments and achievements, which ones should you highlight? Rather than talking about individual accomplishments, think of something that shows how your achievement helped the company.

Another important point when talking about your achievements: show appreciation for others’ efforts. Sure, it’s a question about you. But most positions require teamwork, and so most companies are looking for team players.

Besides questions about your achievements, you’re likely to face questions about past behavior. A common type of behavioral question is “tell us about a time when you demonstrated a particular quality?” For example, leadership, or problem-solving, or creativity. In this case, the interviewers want some evidence, or proof, of your abilities. And when you discuss what you did, keep it to three simple parts: the situation, what you did, and the result.
