In this video, I am going to convert a powerful 220 volts AC water pump to a DC solar pump that will run in between 12 to 30 volts DC.
It is going to be much more efficient than the squirrel cage induction motor pumps. The construction is really simple and the only difficult task was the coupling of the pump and the motor.
The motor that I have used is a Car Power Steering DC Motor that takes up to 30 Amperes Max .
