Speed control of DC Motor
Speed control of a DC (direct current) motor can be achieved using three methods. All methods are discussed one by one to show that how speed can be controlled using
1. Field Flux Control: By changing the field resistance, flux can be changed to control the speed of the DC motor.

2. Armature Voltage Control: By varying the voltage applied to the armature of the DC motor, you can control its speed. This is often achieved using pulse-width modulation (PWM) or Ward-Leonard Method.

3. Armature Resistance Control:
By changing the armature resistance, either manually or automatically, you can control the speed of the DC motor. This is not very common due to power losses in the form of heat.
