THE WORKOUT: 30-MINUTE ATHLETIC HIIT WORKOUT

► EQUIPMENT: Set of medium-to-heavy dumbbells (I'm using 15-20 lbs).

► INSTRUCTIONS:
It looks like this:
5 Circuits
3 Exercises Per Circuit
30 Seconds Per Exercise (perform the first two exercises back-to-back, 1 minute of consecutive work; rest 30 seconds and then go all out for the third HIIT exercise for 30 seconds).
Repeat Each Circuit X 2 Sets

38:40 Cool Down + Stretch

►Workout Outline:
1⃣ CIRCUIT ONE: 1 DB
1. Uneven Front Squat R/L
2. Snatch + Front Squat R/L
Rest 30 Seconds
3. Squat Jack + DB Curl
Rest 30 Seconds, Repeat X2

2⃣ CIRCUIT TWO:
1. Reverse Lunge + Curl + Press
2. Add Jump Lunge Switch
Rest 30 Seconds
3. Lunge Drops R/L
Rest 30 Seconds, Repeat X2

3⃣ CIRCUIT THREE:
1. Staggered Deadlift + Row R/L
2. Push Up + Row R/L
Rest 30 Seconds
3. Burpee + Row R/L
Rest 30 Seconds, Repeat X2

4⃣ CIRCUIT FOUR:
1. Lateral Lunge + Front Raise R/L
2. Lateral Lunge + 2 High Knees R/L
Rest 30 Seconds
3. Lateral Bound + Squat Jump R/L
Rest 30 Seconds, Repeat X2

5⃣ CIRCUIT FIVE:
1. Push Up + Wide Knee Drive
2. 4 Mountain Climbers + 1 Push Up
Rest 30 Seconds
3. 1 Burpee + 2 Lunge Jumps
Rest 30 Seconds, Repeat X2

► FITNESS LEVEL: Intermediate with modifications offered for ALL fitness levels! I filmed this in my second trimester of pregnancy and offered low impact modifications for ALL fitness levels.

► PREGNANCY-FRIENDLY: Yes, if you're up for a challenge with modifications. Slow down the moves as needed, drop weights, take the low impact options as needed and add a bench or chair (adding an incline to all planks, push ups and burpees to take pressure off the core).
