Unilateral training allows us to isolate one side of the body at a time and work on reducing muscle imbalances between a dominant side and weaker side. It also mimics many real-life motions such as reaching with one arm, carrying a load of groceries, or holding a baby on one hip.

THE WORKOUT: 30-Minute Full Body Unilateral Training

► EQUIPMENT: Medium-to-Heavy Dumbbells. And optional Box/Bench.

► FITNESS LEVEL: Intermediate with modifications offered for ALL fitness levels!

► INSTRUCTIONS:
It looks like this:
4 Circuits
3 Exercises Per Circuit (Legs, Arms + Combo)
Timed Intervals (30 seconds of work, 15 seconds rest)
Repeat Each Circuit x 2 Sets
1 Minute Burnout Between Sets

►Workout Outline:
CIRCUIT ONE:
1. LEGS: Staggered Good Morning + Lateral Lunge R/L
2. ARMS: Uneven Push Up + Shoulder Tap R/L
3. COMBO: Staggered Stance Burpee + Single Arm Press R/L
X2
1 MIN BURNOUT: Single Arm Chop + Press R/L (30 sec each)

CIRCUIT TWO: BOX OPTION
1. LEGS: Rear Foot Elevates Lunges R/L
2. ARMS: Incline Plank + Single Arm Back Row R/L
3. COMBO: Staggered Row + Clean + Curtsy Lunge R/L

1 MIN BURNOUT: Runner Lunge

CIRCUIT THREE:
1. LEGS: Staggered Squat R/L
2. ARMS: Single Arm Bicep Curls R/L
3. COMBO: Staggered Squat + Curl @ Bottom + Slow Lower at Top R/L

1 MIN BURNOUT: Lateral Heisman Run + Single Leg Deadlift

CIRCUIT FOUR:
1. LEGS: Single Leg Glute Bridge
2. ARMS: Single Leg Bridge Hold + Skull Crushers R/L
3. ABS: Uneven Sit Up + Single Arm Press R/L
