When studying for maternity nursing / OB, you'll learn about measuring fundal height. You'll also need to know the basics about fundal height for nursing exams such as the Next Generation NCLEX.
One quick tip is that between 20-36 weeks of pregnancy, the fundal height measurement should match the patient's number of weeks pregnant, plus or minus 2 cm.
