When you are swimming in the ocean, you have to battle wave after wave. Just as you stand on your feet, another wave hits you and knocks you down.

Nursing school can be the same way. Just when you feel like things are going good, another "wave" comes and knocks you back down, whether it is a bad exam grade or a bad clinical experience.
