Congratulations! Now that you’re in the second trimester, there is a lot to look forward to! Highlights might include finding out your baby's sex and feeling your baby move for the first time. Lasting from week 14 to week 27, the second trimester of pregnancy is often thought of as the best part of pregnancy. For many people, morning sickness and fatigue from the first trimester go away at this point. The fetus continues developing during this trimester — adding weight and taking on the features of a newborn. You’ll have an ultrasound during the second trimester to make sure the fetus is developing as it should.
