By using the Dropdown function and Table Templates in Google Docs, you can create work flows and track work as it's completed in shared documents.

An amazing additional to the Google Docs functionality that can be used by both teachers and students. Here I go over the dropdown function and use it to create a report writing/proof reading workflow for school.
