Google for Education is bringing a big update to its security Policy and in particular to how it works with Students who are in K 12 (Under 18)
You now have to label your user account as being accounts of user who are 18 and over, or users that are younger than 18. These under 18 accounts, will be restricted in what features they can access, including how YouTube works.

The new settings are rolling out September 1st, 2021. Take action today and inform your teachers, colleagues, students and admins so they can make sure nobody loses their hard work, videos or projects.
