Learn step-by-step how to blend two or more photos together in Photoshop to create your own movie poster! To create the movie poster effect, we start by moving both of our images into the same document and positioning them where we need them. Then we blend the two images together using a layer mask. To help the photos blend more seamlessly together, we merge the effect onto a new layer and add a subtle texture.

Since the colors in the photos don't match,, we convert both images to black and white, and then we colorize the effect with our color. And finally, we boost the contrast to create our final "movie poster" effect. I'm using Photoshop CC but every step is fully compatible with Photoshop CS6.
