Create a picture-in-picture effect in Photoshop from a single photo by placing a smaller, cropped version of the same photo inside the original. A step-by-step tutorial.

We start by opening the image into Photoshop (0:33). Then we make a copy of the image to place inside the original photo (0:41). We convert the original photo to black and white (1:10), and then we draw a rectangular shape in front of it (2:19). We place the second image into the shape using a clipping mask (4:36), which gives us our main photo in photo effect. Then we add a white border around the smaller photo (5:28) and a drop shadow behind it (6:08). Finally, we rotate the smaller photo around our main subjects (7:00).
