There is increasing discussion about the various stakeholders for the outcomes of training. Some recommend the use of a “stakeholder scorecard” for training evaluation. Four critical stakeholders for any HRD intervention are senior management, trainees, trainers, and the trainees’ managers. The contributions of each are what they put into the intervention (e.g., time, money, time away from doing other things). The incentives are what is taken out or received from the training.
