In this video, I show you how to automatically refresh pivot table data. This is required when new data is added to the source of pivot table, and you want to be able to see the new information automatically. Usually, you right click and refresh the pivot table to see the update, but by selecting this option in the Pivot Table options menu, you can see the refreshed data automatically when a file is opened. This way there is no change that the user of your report see old information and make incorrect judgements based on that. Click on Pivot Table Options, and then in the Data tab, check the option to Refresh data when opening file.
