After watching this tutorial, you will know how to model a tire in Maya. I’ve been modeling vehicles for over the past 10 years and in this video you will learn my favorite way to model a tire. We will cover the best way to use reference, how to use radial symmetry with Duplicate Special and instancing, and how to model detailed tread using quad draw.
