In this tutorial I show you how to paint an object for a game engine, such as Unity or Unreal using BodyPaint 3D. The paint and image editing tools I'm using are also inside the Cinema 4D versions of Prime, Broadcast, Visualize and Studio

You will learn how to use the content browser to add pre-set textures to you object and then use the Bake Object command to turn it into an editable UV mapped object.

Then you will learn how to use pre-set brushes to paint on different textures to the colour channel.

Using the rectangle tool you will then add in simple bump, then add in complex bump using layers and different brushes.

Moving on you will learn how to add in reflectance and add a shiny texture to the metal of your box.

Finally you will look at how to use Dodge and Burn to add detail to the colour channel.
