In this Excel video tutorial, we gonna see how to perfom some Basic Excel Formulas such as Add, Subtract, Multiply, Divide and also how to work with Fractions and Exponentiation in Excel. Sum function and average function are two important formula that we are also going to see.

Excel is a powerful tool not only for managing data but also for performing various mathematical operations. Here's a brief overview of how you can utilize Excel for basic arithmetic operations, fractions, and exponentiation:

In Excel, you can simply use the + operator to add numbers. For example, to add two numbers in cells A1 and B1, you can write =A1+B1.

Similarly, you can use the - operator for subtraction. For example, =A1-B1.

Use the * operator for multiplication. For example, =A1*B1.

For division, use the / operator. For example, =A1/B1.

Excel doesn't have native support for fractions in the same way you might represent them on paper (like 1/2 or 3/4). However, you can approximate fractions by formatting cells to display fractions. You can format a cell to display its value as a fraction by right-clicking on the cell, selecting "Format Cells," and then choosing "Fraction" under the "Number" tab.

Exponentiation is done in Excel using the ^ operator. For example, to calculate 2 raised to the power of 3, you would write =2^3, which would result in 8.

Excel also provides several built-in functions for more complex mathematical operations. For example:

SUM: Adds all the numbers in a range of cells.
AVERAGE: Calculates the average of a range of cells.
PRODUCT: Multiplies all the numbers in a range of cells.
POWER: Raises a number to a specified power.

You can use these functions to perform calculations involving fractions, exponentiation, and more complex operations.
