In this free Excel tutorial lesson, we will learn how to make a Beautiful and Modern looking Chart in Excel with the REPT Function and with Emojis or Emoticons. We can also use conditional formatting in Excel to automatically color a cell in Excel as per criteria.
Conditional formatting in Excel can also be used to color the entire table row automatically to highlight cells red green when a value is reached etc. We can also make goals in Excel.
In this free Excel tutorial, we will learn two practical examples of how to create a report in Excel or how to create dashboards to analyze data and information in Excel.
In the first example, we gonna learn how to use conditional formatting to create bars according to the cells value, this way we can visualize the largest values and the smallest values. The largest values have the largest bars and the smallest values have the smallest bars. The size of the bar is proportional to the selected value. We can use here numbers or currency, money, sales, percentages, decimal numbers, or any type of number.
In the second example, we gonna use a function called rept to help us to repeat a certain figure or a certain text several times. For example, if a product has a rating of Five it has five stars, if a product has a rating of four it has four stars and so on. Then we can use a number to determine how many times each text is repeated and this way, instead of using text, a word, a sentence, we can use emojis or emoticons to make our Excel spreadsheet more modern and interactive.
