We going to automatically highlight the cell with a green color, and we also going to automatically highlight a cell with a red color or highlight the cell with a red color automatically, whenever a criteria is met. That way, we can make our spreadsheet in Excel Interactive and make the workbook dynamic.
Conditional formatting makes it easy to highlight certain values or make particular cells easy to identify. This changes the appearance of a cell range based on a condition (or criteria). You can use conditional formatting to highlight cells that contain values which meet a certain condition. Or you can format a whole cell range and vary the exact format as the value of each cell varies.
We also gonna use the Count If formula in Excel to helps us count the absences, count the presences, and count the holidays within each one of the rows. The COUNTIF function in Excel, is one of the statistical functions and we can use it to count the number of cells that meet a criteria.
