A column chart in Excel can be used as a method of displaying data with categories represented by a rectangle.

They allow easy comparisons among a number of items and trends analysis. In general, statistics and figures are difficult to understand when presented in tables or written format.

Instead of just use the standard pattern that Excel gives me, i'm going to create a new pattern and using layout and design to help me with this task.

We can use shadow as background of the chart area, gradient bordelines, gradient color for the chart it self etc.
