In this video you will learn how to turn the Generate GetPivotData feature on/off for pivot tables. This feature creates the formulas with the GETPIVOTDATA function when we reference a cell inside a pivot table.

Although GETPIVOTDATA formulas can be useful, they can also be annoying. Fortunately we can turn the feature on or off with a setting on the Options/Analyze tab of the Pivot Tables ribbon.
