We typically work with large data sets that contain a lot of columns, and it's great to know how to apply filters to multiple columns. This video covers tips and techniques to make this process faster and easier.
I also explain how to determine what the filter criteria is for the column. This can be a time consuming task when you have filters applied to multiple columns.
At the end of the video I explain how Filter Mate can help with this. The Filter Mate window contains a list of all the column names and allows you to quickly see the columns that have filters applied to them. You can also see the filter criteria for each column. This saves a lot of time and eliminates the need to scroll horizontally to find filtered columns.
I also have a new online course on Excel filters called Filters 101. This course will help you learn filtering and sorting techniques to prepare and analyze your data faster.
