In this video, I demonstrate how to remove indentation on a group of cells, even for multiple levels of indentation.
This can be a time-consuming task if you have a report like an income statement with multiple levels of indentation in a column. In the video, I share two quick tips for removing the indentation all at one time.
We first look at removing the indentation with the alignment buttons, which changes the alignment back to the default General setting. General means cells with text are aligned to the left and cells with numbers or dates are aligned to the right. And Boolean values (TRUE/FALSE) centered.
The second technique allows you to remove the indentation AND keep the various alignment settings for the cells. This is great if the cells in the selected range contain different alignment settings. Maybe some cells are centered and others are aligned to the right.
