In this video I explain how to create an attendance report in Excel. It includes a dashboard with conditional formatted Icons.
This video is for Excel Hash. This is a contest with other Excel YouTube channels, and is similar to popular TV cooking shows like Chopped. We were given 4 main ingredients (Excel features) and had to create a solution around those features.
The 4 ingredients are:
1. Icon
2. Dynamic Array
3. XOR Function
4. Linked Picture

I forgot to mention that I also used the new XLOOKUP function in column G of the Data sheet to do a Reverse Order lookup to calculate the duration for the "Out" rows. Here is a video on XLOOKUP. (https://youtu.be/pURSha68Mjs) I'll do a separate video to explain that XLOOKUP formula further.
Here is a video where I explain more about using conditional formatting for shapes (https://youtu.be/o24yr9Oc7l0). This technique also uses the Paste Linked Picture feature, which is similar to the one used in the video above with the transparent icon.
