In this video I demonstrate how to insert an Excel file, table or chart in Excel. An Excel table can be embedded or linked. If the file is linked it will automatically update in PowerPoint when changes are made in Excel. A chart works in the same way: it can be embedded or linked.

When inserting a table or chart from Excel into PowerPoint, you have the option to keep the original formatting that had been applied in Excel or to apply formatting from the presentation's theme.
