In this video I demonstrate how to perform an EMI (Calculate Equated Monthly Installment) calculation in Excel. This kind of calculation is used to work out a monthly repayment value on a loan, such as a mortgage or car loan.

I use two functions in this video, the first is the PMT function which is used to calculate the EMI and the second is the CUMIPMT function which calculates the total interest paid over the term of the loan.
