Learn how to use Freeze panes in Microsoft Excel to freeze a row in Excel when scrolling. This way you can keep an area of a worksheet visible while you scroll to another area of the worksheet. You can freeze the top rows in Excel, freeze multiple panes and columns. You get to lock your cells to keep them always visible as you scroll through your larger datasets in Excel.
