Press is a method of joining pipe that uses force to make a connection, eliminating the need to solder, groove, braze, thread or weld. Utilizing only a few short steps, connections can be completed up to 50% faster than traditional methods, and need no open flame.

First, use a de burring tool to smooth out the edges of the copper pipe as to not damage or nick the o-ring inside the press fitting.

Second, Insert the fitting over the copper pipe all the way down to the stop.

Third, use a marker to make a line where the fitting ends as to ensure that the connection stays at the correct depth.

Finally, using a press tool with the correctly sized jaws, trigger the device to secure the fitting in place. The force of the tool compresses the metals together making a tight, secure connection.
