In this video, we tackle the repair of a water-damaged iPhone 12 Pro that another shop couldn't fix. We begin by checking the device's power consumption with a lab power supply and find it doesn't exceed half an ampere.

After removing the screen, we discover both moisture indicators have changed from white to pink, indicating water damage. Using a microscope, we inspect the motherboard and find corrosion.

After cleaning the affected areas and removing the resin, we identify a faulty capacitor, which we replace with one from an iPhone 7 Plus. Once we reassemble the device, it powers on and charges properly. In this case, we only charge the customer for the new screen, offering the repair for free.
