Today, we're going to delve into a prevalent issue with the iPhone 11 - the WiFi and Bluetooth not turning on. We'll discuss the steps to take in such a scenario.

But before we dive into the repair process, it's always good practice to verify the customer's claim. And indeed, we find that the WiFi and Bluetooth aren't functioning as they should be. In this case, our next course of action is to disassemble the device and access the motherboard.

We start by removing two screws from the device's chassis, with a specific Apple screwdriver. Then, we apply a hot air gun at 90°C to heat the screen frame. The heat aids in loosening the adhesive that attaches the screen to the device, making it easier to remove without damage.

With the aid of a suction cup, we carefully lift the screen away from the body. Then, we unscrew the motherboard and remove the metal plates shielding it.

We disconnect the screen's flex cables using a plastic opening tool. Finally, we remove the remaining screws and disconnect the flexes. Now, we have the motherboard out of the chassis.

Our next step involves a specialized tool to separate the two boards of the motherboard. As you might know, the latest iPhone models feature sandwich-type motherboards, joined together with tiny tin balls. We set the separation machine to 230°C and gently lift the top layer with a scalpel. We're careful not to apply force to the motherboard to avoid damaging it.

After separating the boards, we need to cool them down. I use a fan I purchased from Aliexpress. We then inspect if any pad has fallen off during the process. Luckily, all the pads are in their correct places.

We remove the old tin using desoldering mesh and clean both boards with a contact cleaner. If you don't have a good contact cleaner, isopropyl alcohol can work as a substitute.

Next, we make use of a Quainli tool to "revolve" the motherboard. This tool helps us effectively reassemble the motherboard. We heat it until the tin balls solidify, join the bottom layer with the top layer at a temperature of 230°C, and observe the process under the microscope to ensure it's done correctly.

After reassembling the motherboard, we reinstall it into the device to conduct the necessary tests.

And voila! The iPhone now has fully functioning WiFi and Bluetooth. Our repair process proves successful, providing a second lease on life for this iPhone 11.
