In this tutorial, we demonstrated how to repair a Poco F2 Pro that isn't charging. We began by quickly disassembling the device, lifting the back cover, and removing the screws from the top. During this course, we showed real repairs from our laboratory, emphasizing the importance of a solid foundation in order to repair various devices.

We identified the upper antenna of the device and removed the loose flex bridge. It is essential to disconnect the battery connector during disassembly to prevent short circuits on the motherboard. We discovered a short circuit in the FPC (flexible printed circuit) connector, which may have been caused by moisture or a bad connection.
To fix the issue, we heated the connector and applied flux before using a heat station at 400°C and 50% air to gently remove the plastic connector. We applied more flux and tinned the tracks, using a thicker tip if necessary to ensure proper contact. Next, we placed the FPC connector and soldered it at 350°C and 40% air, taking care to evenly distribute the heat to avoid burning the connector.
After removing excess flux with a cotton piece and contact cleaner, we reassembled the device and conducted tests using a tester to ensure proper voltage levels. The voltage gradually increased, reaching 3.5V, allowing the device to power on. The tutorial concluded with a reminder that mobile repair technicians need to be capable of addressing various faults and should invest in their training to enhance their skills.
