Rushani is a Pamir language spoken in Afghanistan and Tajikistan, closely related to other Northern Pamiri languages like Shughni, Yazgulami, Sarikoli, and Oroshori, sharing many linguistic similarities. Some linguists consider it a dialect of Shughni. Rushani is primarily used informally, with children in the community learning it as their first language before transitioning to the country's official language once they start school. Adult speakers are typically bilingual or trilingual, also speaking Tajik and Russian. Historic ally, Rushani had no written form, but writing systems using Cyrillic and Latin scripts have been developed for the language.
If you are interested to see your native language/dialect be featured here.
