Indragiri Hulu Malay is a dialect that is spoken by Malay people in Indragiri Hulu Province in Indonesia. This dialect is estimated spoken by 300,000+ people. This dialect used to use Jawi Script in the old days but nowadays they use latin alphabet.

Reportedly this and other neighboring dialect is used for making the base of Bahasa Indonesia.
